Prosthetic Design of Humure leg for above knee amputees:

Sculpt feature of Autodesk Fusion 360 was utilized to perform surface modelling of:

  • Soft rubber inner socket layer

  • ABS nylon socket

  • CFRP outer socket

Implemented DFMA for a  robust, reliable and sustainable design to interface following components of socket:

•Fabric Velcro strap

•CFRP buckle,

•CFRP knee bracket and Aluminum joint.

Buckle strap simulation and redesign of socket to increase the load bearing strength:
