Rotary Assembly For High Precision, Low Torque and Direct Drive Applications:

I designed a compact and complex rotary assembly housing of 60mm x 65mm x 65mm in one day along with appropriate selection of optical encoder, Synchronous Brushless DC motor, Thrust and Radial bearings and ULTEM 1010 plastic made housing.

It serves as an integral part in aided robotic surgical arm for Minimally Invasive dental implant surgery.
All parts were assembled in SolidWorks taking form and functionality into consideration.
