Individual contribution:
-
3d printed the shuffler wheels in 4 sections along with Aluminum roller wheels for loading sub-system using lathe.
-
Devised the mechanism along with implementing laser cutting of acrylic to develop a fully functional unloading card collecting sub-system.
-
Developed an innovative V shaped gusset to avoid lateral vibration and provide stability to the whole system during operation.
-
Executed Break Beam sensors to detect the successful loading of card in to the shuffler sub-system without any jamming.
Mechanisms:
Fit & Tolerance testing & Break Beam testing :
Outcomes and future work:
Cards thrown out by loading subsystem:
Sequential working of shuffling and pushing mechanism through solenoid:
•Successfully tested the shuffler for getting a randomly shuffled 20 cards in about 226 seconds.
•User tested it to first unload one card, detect empty slot by micro-controller and then load the card successfully.
